My mood can shift very quickly according to the music I’m listening to, or the movie I’m watching. Last night I caught a re-run Love Actually and found myself in tears, as always.
Tonight Jamie sent me a youtube link to a Go! Team playlist which, predictably, made me feel energetic and positive, and a bit mental (in a good way).
If I listen to Mike Nock I can feel pensive, wistful almost and more than a little sad.
To be honest, I think I can direct and channel my moods by choosing the right music for the right moment.
I should create playlists which, like traffic lights, would emotionally map out my day, providing energy or pauses or downtime as appropriate.
