It’s difficult to escape advertisements when online. Fortunately I’ve developed a ‘blind spot’ facility where, on coming across an advert, my mind goes blank and I am able to consciously unremember the product being sold to me.
The Stay-Puft law states that if someone says”don’t think of a giant marshmallow man” or whatever, that’s what you immediately think of. For me though, adverts don’t adhere to this law. I forget ’em even as I see them.
They roll off.
