My youtube habit has veered away from political and cultural podcasts and toward 60s/70s sitcoms. Maybe it’s the onset of autumn and the colder, darker nights, but I’m looking for comfort viewing. Currently it’s Happy Days which, if you don’t know, is a sort of rose-tinted view of life in the 50s in America. And Hogan’s Heroes, which is a comedy about a German prisoner of war camp where the prisoners basically run the place while sabotaging the German war effort.
So it’s goodbye to Dave Rubin, Nassim Taleb and Mark Blyth, and hello Fonzie and Colonel Klink.
For the moment at least.
