Having set aside the first draft of Little Blade to let it marinate, I thought I’d go back to the other story I’m working on, Gun Jesus. It’s my Christmas present to the members of the Brekka Club, so I have to get it completed, proofed, and published before December.
I’ve got a cover, below, done by Lucas, talented artist and occasional, irritated (by me) techie.
Usually with high-concept thrillers, I plan it all out in detail first, then I only have to join-the-dots to create the story. With this story, however, only first section is fully plotted. Beyond that all I’ve got is the blurb, the main characters, a series of plot points and a final scene.
So it’s a shot in the dark. With a deadline.
Going to be fun.
