My old MacBook is dying hard.
Had it 7 years and it’s a mass of scratches and dings, plus spots of white emulsion paint from January when I was listening to a podcast while decorating, but it’s worked well for all of that time. However, recently I’ve been forced to accept that the hard drive/memory was out of date, overloaded, and getting slower by the day.
With the online support of my man in Mexico, El Gavster, I replaced the old bits and, mostly, everything is working fine now. A couple of email passwords have been lost in translation though, so I’m scrabbling to sort out alternatives.
